1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
Optional: 1 cup chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until a smooth dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and slightly golden.
Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For softer cookies, slightly underbake and store in an airtight container. You can also experiment with different cake mix flavors for variety.
