Cheeseburger Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

Delight in these juicy cheeseburger sliders served on sweet, soft Hawaiian rolls, perfect for parties or a tasty weeknight dinner.

  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with chopped onion, salt, and pepper until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Remove from heat, then stir in ketchup and mustard.
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating individual buns.
  5. Place the bottom half of the rolls on a baking sheet and evenly spread the beef mixture over them.
  6. Top the beef with cheddar cheese slices and pickle slices.
  7. Cover with the top half of the rolls and brush the melted butter over the tops.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and rolls are slightly toasted.
  9. Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra smoky flavor, add a few drops of liquid smoke to the beef mixture or serve with your favorite barbecue sauce.
