  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (red and green)
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing firmly and trimming excess edges.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the ham, spinach, bell peppers, onions, and shredded cheddar cheese over the pie crust.
  4. Pour the egg mixture carefully over the fillings.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden.
  6. Allow the quiche to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm.

For a dairy-free option, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and use a gluten-free crust to accommodate dietary preferences.
