Delight in these creamy, bite-sized Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt Bites, combining the nostalgic flavor of cookie dough with the refreshing creaminess of frozen yogurt for a healthy yet indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup for added sweetness

Instructions

  1. Heat-treat the flour by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes to eliminate any bacteria. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the cooled flour, brown sugar, mini chocolate chips, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and optional honey or maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the yogurt mixture until fully combined, forming a cookie dough-like consistency.
  5. Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, drop bite-sized portions onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Freeze the bites for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Store the frozen bites in an airtight container in the freezer and enjoy chilled.

Notes

For a nutty twist, add a tablespoon of finely chopped walnuts or pecans to the mixture before freezing.
