  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water (110°F)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warm water and honey; mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Fold in cranberries, raisins, and walnuts evenly throughout the dough.
  4. Cover bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours, until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven or heavy pot inside to heat.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape into a round loaf.
  7. Carefully transfer the dough to the preheated Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden and crisp.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
