Crispy Chicken Tenders with Dipping Sauce

These crispy chicken tenders are golden and crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, served with a flavorful dipping sauce perfect for snacks or dinner.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then the eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. For the dipping sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  9. Serve chicken tenders hot with the dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture for a spicy kick.
