1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup almond flour
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cups low-carb marinara sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
Form the mixture into 16 evenly sized meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
Pour marinara sauce over the browned meatballs. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Ensure meatballs are cooked through and sauce is heated. Serve hot with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
For a cheesier flavor, top the meatballs with shredded mozzarella during the last 5 minutes of simmering.
