Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Cook chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over the top; simmer for another 2 minutes to meld flavors.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
