Pistachio Lush Dessert is a creamy, layered treat combining rich pistachio pudding, cream cheese, and crunchy crust for a delightful indulgence. Perfect for any occasion, it blends nutty flavors with a smooth, luscious texture.

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), divided
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter; press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Bake crust for 8-10 minutes. Remove and let cool completely.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together pistachio pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Spread the pudding evenly over the cooled crust.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Mix in sour cream and half of the whipped topping until creamy.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pudding layer.
  8. Top with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving to allow layers to set.

Notes

For extra crunch, add a layer of chopped pecans or walnuts between the crust and pudding layer. Serve chilled with fresh fruit for a refreshing twist.
